1.
RULES: The
following rules for the tournament will be used. These rules will
be interpreted by the tournament director and all decisions will
be final.
2.
ELIGIBILITY:
All teams who have paid the appropriate entry fee. Anyone under
16 years of age must fish with a guardian.
3.
ENTRY FEE: $100
per boat paying one position every 5 boats with an optional big
bass pot of $20. Entries will be accepted by mail up until the
day before the tournament. Entries will also be accepted at the
ramp the morning of the tournament until 5 minutes before
take-off.
4.
TEAM: Teams
consist of two (2) members who fish together. If one (1) member
cannot fish, the other team member may use an alternate or fish by
themselves. Only two (2) alternates per team per year. Points
will be awarded to the original team. One (1) original team
member must be present at all tournament; points will be awarded
to the original team. An alternate will be allowed in the
championship if that alternate was previously used during the
tournament series for the original team.
5.
POINTS: Points
for each team will be their weight for each tournament.
6.
DEPARTURE: Will
be in sequence in which entry forms are received.
7.
TACKLE &
EQUIPMENT: Only artificial lures or bait may be used. Pork style
baits are allowed. NO LIVE BAIT. All bass must be caught on a
rod and reel. Only one rod and reel in use at any time is
allowed.
8.
SAFETY &
SPORTMANSHIP: Safe boating and fishing practices must be observed
at all times. Life jackets and kill switches must be worn any
time the combustion engine is on and running. No alcoholic
beverages are allowed in the boats during official tournament
hours.
9.
PERMITTED
FISHING LOCATIONS: Anywhere on Table Rock Lake, except area
designated as a NO FISHING area. No trailering of boats during
tournament hours. Once a team has checked in, that team may
trailer their boat before they weigh in their catch for the day.
Competitors must remain in their boat at all times with partners
except in case of an emergency.
10.
SCORING:
Largemouth, smallmouth, and Kentucky (spotted) bas will be counted
and must be 15 inches in length. All tournaments will have a 6
fish limit. At no time shall a team possess more than a 6 fish
limit. 1 pound penalty for each dead fish presented for weigh
in. If the dead fish is presented as a big bass one pound will be
deducted from the big bass score. A 2 pound penalty for each
short fish presented for weigh-in that does not measure. This is
a catch and release tournament and all fish will be returned to
the lake. TAKE CARE OF YOUR FISH. IF YOU NEED CLARIFICATION
ASK!!!
11.
CHECK IN:
Competitors must be inside the buoys to be considered on time. If
a team is late that team will be disqualified from that
tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS.
12.
CHAMPIONSHIP:
Top thirty teams qualify for the championship. $10 from each
entry will be carried over for the championship.
13.
QUALITY
ASSURANCE TEST: Refusal to submit or failure of the quality
assurance test will result in disqualification of that team.
******In
signing the entry form, I hereby agree to be bound by and comply
with all tournament rules and regulations. I expressly assume all
risks associated with the tournament and I hereby release the
Winter Bass Series, Ms. Teri Pierce, tournament helpers, and hosts
from any and all damages, claims, demands, costs of expenses
relating to injury of any persons or damage to any property which
I may sustain or which I may cause by reason of participation in
or in connection with this tournament. |
